YIUFCL offers a variety of programs designed to empower and engage youth
Youth Meetings
Our Youth Meetings are held weekly and serve as a vital space for worship, Bible study, and fellowship. These gatherings allow young people to connect with one another, share their faith experiences, and grow spiritually. Each meeting is designed to inspire and strengthen participants’ faith in Christ, offering them guidance and encouragement to face life’s challenges with a Christ-centered perspective.
Workshops and Seminars
YIUFCL organizes Workshops and Seminars that focus on a wide range of topics, including faith, life skills, and leadership. These educational sessions are tailored to empower young people and women with practical knowledge and spiritual wisdom. Whether it’s learning about financial management, developing leadership qualities, or deepening their understanding of the Bible, participants leave equipped to make positive changes in their lives and communities.
Community Service
Our Community Service projects are all about giving back to the communities we live in. We organize various initiatives aimed at improving local neighborhoods, such as cleaning up public spaces, planting trees, and assisting the elderly. These projects not only make our surroundings better but also teach participants the value of service and compassion, reflecting the love of Christ in action.
Sports and Recreation
At YIUFCL, we believe in the importance of balancing spiritual growth with physical well-being. Our Sports and Recreation activities provide a fun and healthy way for young people to connect and build friendships. Whether its football, volleyball, or other games, these activities promote teamwork, discipline, and a spirit of fellowship among participants.
Charity Work
Our Charity Work is focused on supporting those in need within our communities. Through donations, outreach programs, and direct assistance, we help the poor, orphans, widows, and other vulnerable groups. By providing food, clothing, and other essentials, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who are struggling, following Jesus’ command to care for the least of these.
Evangelism
Evangelism is at the heart of YIUFCL’s mission. We are dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who have not yet heard it. Through street preaching, door-to-door outreach, and public events, we share the message of salvation and invite people to experience the transformative power of Christ in their lives.
Conference
YIUFCL hosts annual Conferences that bring together Christians from various backgrounds to learn, worship, and grow together. These events feature guest speakers, worship sessions, and interactive discussions that focus on deepening faith and equipping believers to serve their communities effectively. The conference is a time of renewal, inspiration, and connection for all who attend.
Schools Ministry
Our Schools Ministry focuses on reaching out to students in schools across Uganda. We conduct Bible studies, prayer sessions, and motivational talks that encourage students to embrace their faith and live out Christian values. This ministry aims to shape the next generation of leaders by instilling in them a strong foundation in Christ.
Hospital Ministry
The Hospital Ministry of YIUFCL is dedicated to bringing hope and comfort to the sick. Our team visits hospitals to pray with patients, share the Gospel, and provide emotional and spiritual support. We believe in the healing power of prayer and the importance of showing Christ’s love to those who are suffering.
Mission Tours (Overnights)
Mission Tours and Overnights are special events where our members travel to different regions to share the Gospel, hold overnight prayer meetings, and engage in community outreach. These tours are intense, spiritually enriching experiences that strengthen our members’ faith and extend our ministry’s reach.
Soft Skills and Entrepreneurial Training
YIUFCL offers Soft Skills and Entrepreneurial Training to equip young people and women with the tools they need to succeed in life. These programs focus on skills such as communication, leadership, and business management, enabling participants to start and grow their own businesses, become self-reliant, and contribute to their communities.
Prison Ministry
Our Prison Ministry seeks to bring hope and transformation to inmates. We visit prisons to share the Gospel, provide counseling, and offer support to those who are incarcerated. This ministry aims to help prisoners find redemption and a new path in life through the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
