Youth in Unity for Christ Link Uganda Inspires Community Transformation and Spiritual Revival in Iganga
On Friday, 8th May 2026, Youth in Unity for Christ Link Uganda (YIUFCL) successfully conducted the highly anticipated EAGLE 2 Program, a unique community outreach and spiritual revival initiative that brought together young people, church leaders, and believers from different churches across Iganga District.
The program was hosted at Praise Christian Center along Kaliro Road and consisted of two major activities: a Community Cleaning and Street Evangelism Campaign during the day, followed by EAGLE 2 – The Night of Rejuvenation, an overnight prayer and worship gathering.
EAGLE 2 is part of the ministry’s annual Eagle Series, a movement designed to empower youth, transform communities, and win souls for Jesus Christ through practical service and the preaching of the Gospel.
Through this initiative, Youth in Unity for Christ Link Uganda continues to demonstrate that Christian ministry is not only about preaching but also about meeting community needs and being a positive influence in society.
Community Cleaning and Street Evangelism Along Ssaza Road

The day began with a gathering of approximately 35 youth volunteers at Praise Christian Center before proceeding to Ssaza Road for a community cleaning exercise.
Dressed in ministry uniforms and safety reflectors, the team engaged in:
- Sweeping streets and public spaces
- Collecting and disposing of garbage
- Clearing overgrown areas
- Promoting environmental cleanliness
- Community sensitization on hygiene
However, the activity extended beyond cleaning.
As the youth worked, they also carried out street evangelism using public address systems, sharing the Gospel and inviting residents to the evening revival gathering.
This approach allowed the ministry to demonstrate Christ’s love through action while also presenting opportunities for spiritual transformation.
Many community members expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that it contributed positively to the cleanliness and appearance of the area while creating meaningful interactions between the church and the community.
