Friday, May 9th, 2025, will remain unforgettable for many in Iganga as the town came alive with Eagle 1 — a dynamic, Spirit-filled event organized by Youth in Unity for Christ Link (YIUCL). This unforgettable day was marked by two powerful activities: a vibrant community cleaning and street evangelism session, and a Holy Ghost-filled overnight at New Hope Family Worship Center.
Cleaning Streets and Winning Souls 🧹🔥
The day started early as enthusiastic youths gathered at Iganga District Headquarters by 8:00 AM. Armed with brooms, sacks, gloves, and reflector jackets, the team hit the streets—Ngobi Road, Ssaza Road, and Wagoina Road—cleaning every corner with joy and unity. But it wasn’t just about trash. It was about transformation.
While others swept, street preachers boldly declared the Gospel. The message of salvation echoed through the roads as people paused their daily activities to listen, respond, and receive Christ. Prayers were made, lives were touched, and souls were won for the Kingdom. It was more than service; it was evangelism in action!

A Night of Fire and Glory 🔥🌙
By 6:00 PM, the scene shifted to New Hope Family Worship Center for Eagle 1 Night. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, and believers from different churches filled the sanctuary. Lunch had already been served to those who had traveled from far, creating a sense of family and hospitality.
The night unfolded with powerful worship, soul-lifting choir ministration, and divine encounters through the Word. Hosts Bishop Bayimuse Robert Charles, and youth leaders Brother Tainika Peterson and Sister Carol, led with excellence and grace.

The guest preachers, Evangelist Wambi Solomon and Bishop Dan Byamukama, delivered timely and prophetic messages that stirred hearts and called the youth to rise like eagles. Intercessors prayed with fire, ushers served diligently, and interpreters ensured everyone understood the move of God.
From start to finish, Eagle 1 was a beautiful testimony of unity, service, and the raw power of God moving through dedicated young people.
A Movement, Not Just a Moment 🚀
Eagle 1 reminded us that the youth are not the church of tomorrow — they are the fire of today. By combining practical service with spiritual intensity, YIUCL demonstrated how faith can be active, visible, and impactful.
We celebrate all the churches who allowed their youth to participate, and we say thank you to every pastor, team member, and partner who made this possible.
Eagle 1 is just the beginning. More fire is coming. Stay connected. 🦅🔥
